About our Cattle
We have been breeding Brahman cattle in the
Missouri Ozarks for twenty years. While we are maintaining our Suva,
257, V8 700/3 and V8 666 influence, this year we have added a few Gir
cows to our herd.
Our main herd bull, Mr DDW Complete
"Sampson" has done us well, producing good heifers and
bull calves. Sampson goes back to JDH Charley Manson 590/6 on his Sire's
side and is a grandson of JJ Didor Imperator 251 on the dam's
side. Sampson has crossed well with Suva influence daughters.
Our Brucellosis free herd number is 1810
We think living this far North gives our
cattle an advantage over Southern raised cattle. Our cattle have adapted
to the colder winters, we have no problem with blue tongue, and they do
well on fescue both summer and winter.
